What is VersaSpa?
VersaSpa is unlike any other sunless tanning experience and features state-of-the-art comfort technologies that you won't find anywhere else, such as:
Three Levels of Sunless Tanning - This allows you to be beautifully bronzed whether you have a very pale skin coloring at the time of your first VersaSpa experience or to further deepen your tan if you already have great color.
TWO TANNING SOLUTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:
Cosmetic Bronzer - This solution applies the Magic Tan bronzing solution while at the same time applying a cosmetic bronzer that allows you to see immediate results of your tan.
Clear Bronzer - This solution applies the Magic Tan bronzing solution without the cosmetic bronzer. This solution is ideal if you are tanning during your lunch break or while wearing lighter colored clothing as no cosmetic bronzer will rub off on your clothes. No matter which solution you choose your end result will be identical. In 6 hours after you have experienced the VersaSpa you will have a beautiful golden bronze tan.

What is in your bronzing formula that makes me tan?
DHA, dihydroxyacentone, combined with anti-aging, skin firming ingredients is the main compound that produces a customized bronze glow. DHA has been an approved cosmetic additive by the FDA for over 30 years. VersaSpa chemists have refined the technology to produce the most outstanding formulation that results in silky smooth, glowing skin with no after smell.
And is it safe?
The FDA has approved DHA as a topical application and recommends that users should avoid inhaling or digesting DHA. As a result, VersaSpa omits the least amount of solution necessary to achieve a full body tan, thus decreasing the amount of inhalable mist for a more pleasant experience. Furthermore, VersaSpa users are encouraged to use protective measures to eliminate ingestion such as: covering eye areas with disposable winkies; sealing lips with lip balm; and the use of disposable undergarments.
Will the Bronzing Formula stain my hair or clothing?
No worries about staining, the formula is completely water soluable. Users may notice some initial cosmetic color on the inside of their clothing, but this color will wash out in cold water.
Can I swim, shower, and workout with my sunless tan?
Of course! But be sure to wait at least 4 hours to allow the formula to react with your skin's amino acids and proteins. In fact, the longer you allow the solution to remain on your skin, the longer lasting your tan will be. Finally, swimming in highly chlorinated water will significantly reduce your results. What is the Mystic Tan Booth?
The Mystic Tan Booth is a UV-Free spray on tanning booth is designed to deliver a customized sunless tanning application to each customer based on their body size, skin type, and desired color. A perfectly uniform, natural-looking tan in less than 60 seconds!
What should I wear in the Mystic Tan Booth?
Most people wear nothing. Since the room is completely private, going for an all-over tan is completely up to you. However, if you do wear a bathing suit or underwear, please note that it may become stained. The solution we use is water-soluble and should wash out, but the DHA may permanently stain what you wear during the tanning session.
What happens if the solution gets in my eyes?
Our tanning solution has been thoroughly tested by a third-party lab and the results showed no eye or skin irritation. It has been used in over three million tanning sessions with no adverse reactions documented.
What happens if I inhale any of the solution?
While no one should purposely inhale or ingest the solution, it is known that DHA (the active tanning ingredient) is a non-hazardous compound and causes no adverse reaction in moderate quantities when applied topically or even ingested. DHA has been used as a diet supplement in sports nutrition and is non-carcinogenic. Testing has further shown that DHA is less toxic than aspirin, caffeine and even common table salt. Based on our research, the maximum amount of DHA that could accidentally be ingested or breathed during a one minute Mystic Tan Booth sunless tanning session would be .05 milligrams (equivalent to less than one grain of common table salt). Ingesting this minimal amount of DHA should pose no health risk to the consumer.
Should I cover my hair while tanning in the Mystic Tan Booth?
Many customers wear a disposable shower cap, provided by the salon, to keep tanning mist from getting into their hair. Other customers tan without covering their hair. The solution does not penetrate the hair follicle.
Are there any optional precautions I can use with the Mystic Tan Booth?
When applying DHA sunless products in a spray or mist, it may be difficult to avoid exposure to eyes, lips or guard against accidental inhalation of the tanning mist. The FDA recommends that users cover the area of the eyes with standard UV tanning eyewear, protect the lips with lip balm and use a nose filter to protect membranes in the nasal passages, as well as avoid inhaling or ingesting the product.
